Town Manager Will Wright Resigns

June 8, 2015

Tusayan Town Manager Will Wright has resigned. His last day on the job will be July 3rd. Wright tells the Watchdog he wishes to retire in order to be closer to his wife's family. He was hired in May 2013.

Tusayan has had at least four town managers in its brief history as an incorporated town. That begs the question, why is it so difficult to retain municipal leadership?

The resignation follows two days of executive sessions in which the manager's performance was evaluated.

Wright previously served as Town Manager for Thatcher and Eager as well as Community Development Director for Graham County.
