There may be a break in the ongoing efforts to get a bathroom built at the town park. the total cost for the more expensive Kodiak model is $334,000. that includes the building, site preparation, utility line extension, among other things. that's about $69,000 more than the Community Development Block Grant set aside for the project. the Town could save a few dollars by opting for a cement floor instead of a tile floor.

Mayor Bryan joked that perhaps the Town could get a tile floor when things are 'flush.'

The Vail family is helping the Town save thousands of dollars by allowing the town to utilize their water and sewer lines. The town is working on getting that signed easement.
