More Work To Be Done: Josh Collet Seeks Another Term On Tusayan Town Council
April 1, 2026
From completion of the Tusayan Town Hall to flood prevention, Tusayan Town Councilman Josh Collet has a lot on his plate. But he says he has more work to do which is why he is seeking another four-year term on the Tusayan Town Council, “We've come so far and we're in the home stretch for to bring home some of these longer-term projects, floodplain, Town Hall. We need to shepherd it through.”
Collet prefers to work quietly behind the scenes to make Tusayan a better place. One of his major accomplishments was the effort to obtain the old 7 Mile Lodge property as the site a Tusayan Town Hall.
“I think the Town Hall is critical. It's our opportunity to establish who we are and who we want to be. It's a place for community to come together. It's the central focus that we own. I think it's a critical step in cementing to see on as who we are.”
Collet is proud to work with a Mayor and Council that put Tusayan’s best interests first, “It's really easy to get behind someone who wants to move a program forward, whether it’s jerseys for the school sports teams or the community garden. All these things are good for the people of Tusayan. It's been a pleasure serving everyone. I look forward to another term.”
