Tusayan gets ADOT Grant For Crosswalk Project
January 23, 2026
Tusayan wants to make crossing Highway 64 safer. That’s why it applied for and got a $185,00 grant from the Arizona Department of Transportation.
According to a report from Interim Town Manager Greg Clifton, the town will only have to come up with $10,000 in matching funds. Next steps will involve getting plans to ADOT for approval. Construction could start next year.
Mayor Vail hopes the project includes re-striping for the existing north crosswalk.
