Please be advised that there will be geotechnical boring conducted at various locations throughout the Town of Tusayan between January 21st and 23rd.  This geotechnical investigative work relates to proposed future drainage improvements identified by the Town and the Coconino County Flood Control District,  consistent with the Tusayan Drainage Master Plan that aims to reduce flood risk in the community.  Funding for these future drainage improvements is being pursued through federal grants.
