Community Garden Meeting May 11th 

Do you have a green thumb?  Are you interested in the Community Garden?  Join us May 11th at 6:45 pm at the Grand Canyon Recreation Center - Piano room to learn more.  Annual plots are $25 and are first come first serve with priority to returning gardeners. Native Conservation Corps Crew  is now hiring for Hopi Youth 14 - 17 yrs old. 

  

Ancestral Lands Hopi is now accepting applications for our traveling Youth Conservation Corps! We are are filling 3 month positions with local youth (14-17) to travel, work, and live together in the Grand Canyon NP, Petrified Forest NP, Joshua Tree NP, and Muir Woods NM for the summer starting June 5th! Veterans Mobile Center coming to the Grand Canyon and Tusayan June 1st and June 2nd. These customized vehicles – which are equipped with confidential counseling space and a state of the art communication package—travel to communities to extend VA’s reach to Veterans, service members and their families, especially those living in rural or remote communities.  We will have more details coming soon any questions can be directed to Laura at the Chamber Office at 928-638-2901. 

  

Kaibab Learning Center is hosting a Summer Craft Bazaar on Saturday June 17th from 10 am - 7 pm in Tusayan.  $50 per table paid prior to June 1st $75 per table after June 1st.   Anyone interested in having a table a the event should contact Michelle at 928-638- 6333.
